Wraparound
Nursery Wraparound is available for children who attend Dickens Heath Community Primary School Nursery and who regularly require additional childcare in addition to their nursery place. School Nursery takes place in the morning and Wraparound sessions begin at 12:00pm as the Nursery session ends. This flexible service is based in the Nursery classroom and outdoor space, so that children have a familiar learning environment. The children are supported by our highly qualified and experienced Early Years Childcare staff, in order to maintain continuity.
The planned Wraparound curriculum is an enhanced and complementary version of the Nursery curriculum, in order to reinforce learning in both prime and specific areas of development. Hot lunches are available for Wraparound children between sessions and parent are also able to book an additional 20 minutes from 3:00pm-3:20pm to either support with collecting other children from school, or for those parents who require additional childcare through Acorns before and after school club.
