Enabling every child to be the best version of themselves
Dickens Heath Community Primary School is a fully inclusive school, which welcome all children, striving to help them to make good progress in their spiritual, moral, emotional and academic development.
Dickens Heath CPS firmly believes in developing strong relationships with all stakeholders and that in turn this will enable children and young people with SEND to achieve their potential. The school recognises that parents/carers have a unique view of their child's needs and working together ensures that key information is shared and the child is at the centre of all partnership.
As of September 2020 -24% of children from Reception to Year 6 are on the SEND Register. There are currently 108 children on the SEND Register across SEND support and EHCP at Dickens Heath. These figures are updated regularly following termly meeting and discussions with parents.
At DHCPS, we have a range of staff who support children and families with SEND needs.
